1. Operational Service Area

Aritaku operates strictly within designated hyperlocal zones. Currently, we offer delivery services exclusively in the **Konaseema region, Andhra Pradesh, India** and surrounding servicing corridors. If your address coordinates fall outside our active geofenced operational zones, the app will restrict ordering during checkout, displaying a "Location Too Far" message.

2. Delivery Fees

Aritaku implements a flat distance-based delivery fee. This fee is calculated automatically at checkout based on the route distance (in kilometers) between the restaurant location and your delivery coordinates. 100% of the delivery fee is settled directly to the delivery rider upon successful handover verification.

3. Order Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

  • Immediate Preparation: Once a restaurant accepts your order, they immediately prepare and package it.
  • Hyperlocal Delivery: An independent delivery rider is assigned automatically to pickup and transport the food to your doorstep.
  • Delivery Timelines: Since we deliver hot food, orders are dispatched immediately. The average delivery time is **15 to 40 minutes** from restaurant acceptance, depending on prep time, distance, and traffic conditions. Estimated delivery times are shown dynamically in your cart screen prior to checkout.

4. Geofenced Handoffs & Secure Delivery Verification

To ensure deliveries are conducted accurately, we utilize real-time geolocation tracking and a secure, PIN-verified handoff system:

  • Rider Tracking: Customers can track the rider's real-time position on a live map within the Customer App once the rider accepts the delivery.
  • Proximity Alerts: Customers receive a push notification alert when the rider is within 500 meters of the delivery location.
  • Verification PIN: To complete the delivery, you must share the 4-digit delivery PIN (visible on your active tracking screen) with the rider. The rider must enter this PIN into the Rider App to successfully close the order. Sharing this PIN constitutes confirmation that you have received your order in good condition.

5. Force Majeure & Delivery Disruptions

While we strive for swift deliveries, order times may be delayed or suspended under extreme circumstances, including:

  • Severe weather conditions (such as torrential rain, storms, or flooding).
  • Local strikes, roadblocks, traffic gridlocks, or government-imposed curfews.
  • Payment gateway or network service disruptions affecting live location systems.

In cases of cancellation due to force majeure, you will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be processed directly to your in-app Aritaku Wallet.
