Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Aritaku platform (the "Ecosystem"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Aritaku is owned and operated by HARIDAKSHA TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not download or use our services.
2. Platform Fee & Zero-Commissions
Aritaku operates on a 0% commission model. Restaurants keep 100% of their menu prices, and delivery partners keep 100% of the delivery fees. We charge a flat, transparent "Platform Fee" to process transactions and support logistics:
- Base Fee: ₹15 for order values up to ₹500.
- Incremental Scale: +₹5 for every additional ₹500 in order value.
- Maximum Cap: The Platform Fee will never exceed twice the base platform fee (e.g., ₹30 when the base fee is ₹15).
3. Ordering, Pricing & Prepaid Payments
- Prepaid UPI Only: We accept only prepaid payments made via Unified Payments Interface (UPI). We do not support Cash on Delivery (COD) payments.
- Billing Accuracy: Menu prices listed on the platform represent direct in-store menu costs. Every delivery fee, platform fee, surge fee, and tax is broken down clearly at checkout.
- Wallet & Rewards: Users may apply Aritaku Wallet Cash, referral rewards, or promo credits to deduct platform fees. These balances hold no real monetary value outside the app.
4. Cancellation and Refund Guidelines
To prevent food waste and respect preparation efforts:
- Customers may cancel their order for a 100% refund only if the restaurant has not yet accepted the order.
- Once the order status is updated to "PREPARING" by the restaurant, it cannot be cancelled by the customer, and no refund will be issued.
- Refer to our complete Refund & Cancellation Policy for detailed terms.
5. Delivery Partner Terms
Delivery Partners are independent contractors and not employees of Aritaku or HariDaksha Technologies Pvt Ltd.
- Earnings and Settlements: Riders receive 100% of the distance-based delivery fees. Settlements are processed daily to their verified UPI VPA.
- Shared Efficiency Bonus (Batching): When a rider carries a batched order (two orders simultaneously), Aritaku awards 50% of the platform logistics fee of the second order to the rider as a delivery bonus.
- Lockout Policy: Exceeding three (3) daily order cancellations or violating platforms safety/handover protocols will result in a temporary review-based system lockout.
- Insurance & Safety: Partners are responsible for their own vehicle maintenance, insurance, and road safety. Aritaku is not liable for accidents or damages incurred during delivery tasks.
6. Restaurant Partner Terms
- Restaurants are responsible for food quality, preparation safety, and correct packaging of orders.
- Menu prices listed on Aritaku must match in-store prices.
- Earnings are settled instantly to the restaurant owner's UPI ID upon successful PIN-verified delivery completion.
7. Handover Verification
Aritaku operates a secure PIN-verified handoff. The order is marked complete and payouts are dispatched only when the customer shares their 4-digit generated PIN with the rider, who inputs it into the Rider App.
8. Limitation of Liability
Aritaku is a tech interface matching stakeholders. HARIDAKSHA TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED is not liable for food quality, hygiene concerns, transit delay issues caused by traffic/storms, or failures on external UPI payment gateway apps.
